Project Manager

We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our passionate and expanding digital team.

As a project manager, you will be responsible for overseeing our web projects from the initial scoping sessions to the completion of a project. You will work closely with both our web design and web development teams as well as directly with our clients, managing production and ensuring projects are delivered to the agreed timeframes. To be successful, you should have experience within an agency environment working in a similar role and have excellent time management skills as well as being organised, self-motivated and driven. You will be a crucial member of the team, responsible for communicating with our team and our clients, maintaining relationships and ensuring our digital projects are delivered on-time and to the highest quality.

Full-time
Hybrid (Minimum of 2 days a week at our Retford location)
Salary: £30,000-£40,000, dependent on experience

Key responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

• Managing web projects from the initial brief to delivery and go-live
• Working with the web team on a daily basis
• Working and liaising with clients to understand their business objectives, needs and challenges
• Ensuring projects remain on schedule to the agreed timeframes
• Managing production and ensuring all parties are up-to-date with any changes
• Identifying upsell opportunities throughout the project to drive new business
• Ensuring that all work is produced to the highest quality before presenting to clients
• Maintaining consistency and ensuring projects align with the clients goals
• Arranging and attending meetings both in-person and via Zoom when required
• Managing client expectations
• Building strong relationships with internal team members, clients and partners
• Monitor website performance regularly, making data-driven decisions to optimise results
• Manage budgets efficiently
• Provide support with new business pitches and quotes where required
• Aim to achieve retained business from all clients, promoting our post-launch support and up-sells consistently
• Ability to carry out sector specific keyword research

Key skills

To be considered, the successful candidate should have:

• Experience as a project manager in prior roles
• Experience in working to tight deadlines
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience in a fast paced design agency environment
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Be self-motivated and driven
• Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
• Ability to interpret client briefs
• Proficiency to work effectively in workflow systems like Trello
• Knowledge of UI/UX design
• Knowledge of Adobe suite including Photoshop and XD
• Knowledge of Figma
• Experience working with web development teams with an understanding of CMS systems
• Goal oriented and customer oriented
• Ability to perform under pressure to achieve targets
• Good attention to detail along with a creative mind
• Data driven, with a good understanding of SEO and Google Analytics
