It’s Christmas at Bubble!
Christmas is a time for festivity, happiness, and coming together, which is as good a reason as any for us to throw a Christmas day-in-the-office for our team!
This year, we decided to bring the magic of Christmas into our office, transforming an ordinary workday into a festive celebration! Despite being immersed in our regular workflow and project deadlines, there’s something incredibly special about taking a pause to celebrate together as a team, especially at this time of year! The whole team embraced the festive spirit in style, wearing their Christmas jumpers with pride and creating an unforgettable day of laughter, music, food, and abundant festive cheer!
Donning the festive attire
The day kicked off with everyone decked out in their most festive outfits! Our office was awash with a vibrant array of colours as everyone sported their beloved Christmas sweaters! Ranging from cute snowmen and robins to classic patterns and bespoke creations, the Yuletide spirit was palpable in our workspace! There were some impressive entries for the best Christmas jumper. While some opted for a more conservative approach, others went the extra mile and created their own unique clothing – a testament to the creative flair of being a designer! Rob and Rhys somehow managed to turn up wearing the same jumper! 🙈
Setting the tone with some Christmas classics!
A typical workday in our studio just isn’t complete without a solid playlist or our favourite radio station playing in the background! Especially during the Christmas season, there are certain timeless songs that are simply a must-play. Music has this remarkable ability to shape the ambiance, and what could be more fitting for a festive mood than iconic tracks such as ‘All I Want for Christmas Is You’, ‘Last Christmas’, or ‘Fairytale of New York’? These melodious tunes filled the air, lending an extra sprinkle of magic to our workday while keeping the holiday spirit alive and well.
A feast of festive food
What’s a festivity without food, right?!? As lunchtime rolled around, we momentarily set our screens aside to partake in a delightful Christmas lunch! From sandwiches brimming with turkey, stuffing, and cranberry to a sweet finish of mince pies and cakes, there was a delectable dish for every taste! This midday break was more than just a chance to satiate our hunger. It was an opportunity to come together as a team to bond, share stories, and revel in the holiday spirit!
Spreading joy with Christmas goodie bags
As a little way of saying a big thank you to each and every member of our team for all their hard-work and commitment this year, we handed out Christmas goodie bags, filled with a selection of Christmas treats and surprises, bringing a touch of Santa’s workshop to our office! It was a simple gesture, but one that conveyed the love and appreciation we have for every member of the team.
Our Christmas day-in-the-office was not just about celebrating Christmas. It was a celebration of our team, our togetherness, and the joy we derive from working together!
As we move into the new year, we are filled with anticipation and excitement for the creative journeys that await us. Here’s to a fantastic year ahead, filled with innovative designs, successful projects, and many more memorable moments!
