We’re incredibly proud to celebrate a fantastic achievement for Ellis, who has officially completed his Multi-Channel Marketer Apprenticeship with a distinction – and we’re even more delighted that he’ll be continuing his journey with us as a full-time Web Designer!
Ellis joined Bubble as an apprentice with a clear ambition to build a career in web design. Since then, he’s worked incredibly hard to develop his skills, gain experience and become a valued member of our web team.
A well-deserved distinction
Completing an apprenticeship while working within a busy agency environment is no small achievement. Alongside his day-to-day role in the web team, Ellis has continued to complete his apprenticeship work, develop his knowledge and put what he’s been learning into practice.
His distinction is a fantastic reflection of the effort, commitment and determination he’s shown throughout his apprenticeship. He’s consistently pushed himself to learn new skills, take on more responsibility and improve his work, and it’s been brilliant to see how much he’s developed since joining us.
We’re all incredibly proud of what Ellis has achieved and the progress he’s made during his time at Bubble.
Reflecting on his apprenticeship, Ellis said:
“Completing my apprenticeship with a distinction is something I’m really proud of. When I first joined Bubble, I was excited to start a career in web design, but there was so much for me to learn. The support I’ve had from Rhys and the wider web team has helped me develop my skills and confidence and take on bigger projects.
I’ve really enjoyed being able to learn while working on real client websites, and seeing my designs go from an idea to a finished website has been one of the most rewarding parts of the role.
I’m really excited to now take the next step and continue my career at Bubble as a full-time Web Designer.”
From apprentice to Web Designer
Ellis has already become an important part of our web team, working across a range of client projects and developing his skills in website design, user experience and digital.
His progression has been particularly rewarding to watch because becoming a Web Designer was something he identified as a long-term goal when he first joined Bubble. In his earlier team spotlight, Ellis spoke about wanting to take on bigger projects and develop his design skills – and he’s certainly been doing that.
Now, having completed his apprenticeship, he’ll be taking on a full-time position as a Web Designer and continuing to build on everything he’s learned so far.
Ellis’s mentor, Rhys, said:
“Ellis has come such a long way since joining us as an apprentice, and we’re incredibly proud of what he’s achieved.
He’s worked really hard throughout his apprenticeship and has always been willing to learn, ask questions and take on feedback. What’s been particularly great to see is how much his confidence has grown alongside his design skills.
He’s now taking on projects with much more independence and has become a really valued member of the web team. Achieving a distinction is a fantastic result and is thoroughly deserved.
We’re really pleased that Ellis has chosen to continue his career with us, and we’re looking forward to seeing him grow further in his new role as a Web Designer.”
A success story for our Future Talent Programme
Ellis’s journey is exactly the kind of progression we hoped to create when we launched our Future Talent Programme.
The programme was created to give young people meaningful opportunities to explore careers in the creative industry through apprenticeships, work experience and academic workshops. Our apprenticeship programme combines structured learning with hands-on experience, giving apprentices the opportunity to work alongside experienced team members and contribute to real client projects.
Ellis is a fantastic example of what that pathway can lead to. He joined Bubble as an apprentice, developed his skills through a combination of learning and real-world experience, and has now secured a permanent position within the team.
That’s something we’re particularly proud of. We don’t just want to give young people an introduction to the creative industry – we want to help them build genuine careers.
The next chapter
