From 9–15 February 2026, businesses across the UK will be celebrating National Apprenticeships Week – a week dedicated to recognising the positive impact apprenticeships have on individuals, organisations and the wider economy.

At Bubble, this isn’t just something we acknowledge because it’s in the calendar. Supporting apprenticeships is something we genuinely care about. We believe in creating meaningful opportunities for the next generation of creative and commercial talent, and in giving people the chance to learn, grow and build real careers from the very start.

Through our Future Talent Programme, we invest in apprenticeships across multiple departments, helping young professionals gain hands-on experience while becoming valued members of our team.

We’re proud to be supporting four apprentices across marketing, web design, business development and accounts – each on their own unique journey. Here’s a closer look at how they’re getting on…

Ellis – Level 2 Marketing Apprentice (Web Design)

Ellis is currently completing his Level 2 Marketing Apprenticeship, with a clear focus on progressing into our web design team.

While his long-term goal is to become a website designer, his apprenticeship provides a broad foundation in marketing – helping him understand how different departments collaborate and how web design plays a crucial role within wider campaigns and client strategies.

The well-rounded structure of his apprenticeship means he’s not only learning how to design websites, but also gaining valuable insight into how marketing, design and development work together to deliver results.

In Ellis’ words:

“I am really enjoying working here at Bubble, mainly because of the team around me. It makes me look forward to going to work as I am able to speak to so many skilled and friendly people where we can collaborate ideas together – which I think has really helped me grow and learn as an apprentice.

I mainly enjoy getting projects over the line as it gives me a sense of accomplishment, and seeing the work that I have done actually live on a website makes me feel proud and puts it into perspective.

It’s surprising how well I’ve picked up the skills needed for the web design role. When I first started, it felt daunting seeing new software I’d never used before. But the support from Rhys and the wider web team has helped massively – allowing me to have my own clients and be trusted with my own projects.

The project I’m most proud of so far is the Treswell Village Hall website – my first ever full website design. Seeing it nearly ready to go live makes me feel proud of how far I’ve come.”

From his mentor, Rhys:

“Ellis has been doing an amazing job since joining the team and has settled in incredibly well. From day one, he’s felt like a valued member of the team.

He consistently completes his coursework on time, asks the right questions, and makes the most of being surrounded by experts. He’s already delivered exceptional work and communicates with clients in a professional and enthusiastic way.

On top of that, he’s a great person to have in the team – friendly, funny and always getting involved. We’re really proud of the progress he’s made so far.”

Abbi – Level 3 Business Administration Apprentice (Accounts)

Abbi is completing her Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship, with the aim of progressing into a long-term role within our accounts department.

Her role gives her exposure to all aspects of business administration and accounts — from raising SOPs and managing jobs, to handling calls, organising deliveries and placing orders. It’s a hands-on position that provides a real understanding of how the operational side of the business runs.

In Abbi’s words:

“I absolutely love my role. Completing my apprenticeship has given me the opportunity to learn while working, which has been incredibly rewarding.

Bubble has supported me throughout my learning journey by providing the time, guidance and encouragement I needed to grow in confidence and develop new skills.

As I approach the end of my Level 3 apprenticeship and complete my final assessments, I feel incredibly proud of how far I’ve come. I’ve loved being able to apply what I’ve learnt directly to my role, and I’m excited to take the next steps in my career with the skills and experience I’ve gained.”

From her mentor, Nicola:

“Abbi has really thrived in this role and has quickly become such a valued member of the team. From the very beginning, she’s shown a fantastic work ethic and a real willingness to learn, which is especially impressive at this stage in her career.

She’s incredibly reliable day to day and has taken genuine ownership of her responsibilities, which has helped ease the pressure on others and strengthened the way our accounts function as a whole. She’s earned the trust of both myself and the wider team through her consistency and positive attitude.

We’re so proud of the progress she’s made and are really looking forward to continuing to support her as she builds what we hope will be a long and successful career here at Bubble.”

Hariss – Level 2 Marketing Apprentice (Business Development)

Hariss is also completing a Level 2 Marketing Apprenticeship, but with a focus on business development and sales.

His marketing studies give him insight into strategy, positioning and customer behaviour – knowledge that directly supports his day-to-day role in lead generation and relationship building. Working closely with our Managing Director, Chris, Hariss is gaining hands-on experience in sequencing, lead handling, and understanding how marketing services translate into commercial opportunities.

In Hariss’ words:

“I started my apprenticeship journey with Bubble in June 2025. I’m gaining hands-on experience supporting lead generation and building relationships with potential clients.

I work closely with Chris, who is teaching me valuable experience about what it’s like to be a business developer.

I’ve really enjoyed my time so far because I’m able to bring the skills I’ve learnt into the real world. The team has been extremely supportive from day one, and knowing Bubble’s clear goals helps me stay focused and motivated.”

From his mentor, Chris:

“Hariss is doing a great job and is really embracing both his apprenticeship learning and his day-to-day responsibilities. Business development is such an important area for us, and he’s stepped into the role with enthusiasm and dedication.

He’s been given meaningful responsibility, and it’s great to see how confidently he’s starting to manage it. He’s building a well-rounded understanding of our industry and services, which is helping him identify opportunities and contribute in a way that adds real value.

Hariss is eager to learn and has grown in confidence over the past few months. On top of that, he’s fitted into the team effortlessly.”

Emily – Level 6 Digital Marketing Degree Apprentice

Emily is currently in her second year of a Level 6 Marketing Degree Apprenticeship with Nottingham Trent University, combining university learning with her role as a Senior Social Media Executive at Bubble.

Her course covers marketing strategy, consumer behaviour, analytics, campaign planning and digital performance – knowledge she applies directly to real client campaigns. With several years still ahead on her degree apprenticeship, Emily continues to grow both academically and professionally.

In Emily’s words:

“It’s a three-year course that blends real work experience with university learning. I’ve been able to apply what I learn directly to my role – creating content, analysing performance and building practical skills that go far beyond the classroom.

Bubble have been amazing throughout my apprenticeship. Choosing the right company really matters, not just for the job but for the support you receive. Bubble have trusted me to manage my workload alongside my studies, encouraged me to try new ideas, and given me the freedom to contribute and grow.”

From her mentor, Chris:

“Emily is a truly valued member of the team and continues to impress us with how she balances her university studies alongside her role at Bubble. She’s incredibly driven and committed to her development, and that shows in the quality and consistency of her work.

She brings thoughtful ideas to the team, approaches her projects with professionalism, and consistently delivers to a high standard. It’s been great to see her confidence grow as she progresses through her degree apprenticeship.

We’ve been really proud of her dedication to her career and are excited to continue supporting her as she develops even further within the business.”

Our Commitment Through the Future Talent Programme

National Apprenticeships Week is a great reminder of just how powerful apprenticeships can be – not only for the individuals taking part, but for businesses like ours too.

At Bubble, our Future Talent Programme is all about creating real pathways into the creative industry. We know that talent doesn’t always follow a traditional route, and apprenticeships offer an incredible way to learn on the job, gain qualifications, and build confidence at the same time.

For us, it’s never been about short-term placements or ticking boxes. It’s about investing in people – giving them the time, support and trust they need to grow, develop their skills, and build long-term careers with us.

The journeys of Ellis, Abbi, Hariss and Emily are a great example of what can happen when ambition is matched with opportunity and the right support around you. And we’re incredibly proud to be part of that journey.
