Bubble team at Enigma Escape Rooms Retford

At Bubble, we’re firm believers that a strong team doesn’t just thrive on creativity and productivity β€” it’s also about the moments we share together outside the office. Last week, we took a break from our screens to enjoy an exciting evening of teamwork, problem-solving, and, of course, some delicious food! Our destination? The renownedΒ Enigma Escape RoomsΒ in Retford, followed by a hearty three-course meal atΒ Dante’s Italian Restaurant. Here’s a look at the fun and memorable evening we shared!

The Escape Room Challenge: Teams vs. Time

Straight after work, we headed to Enigma Escape Rooms, ready to put our minds to the test! The team was split into four groups of four, each facing different escape room challenges. From intricate puzzles to mysterious clues, the clock was ticking, and the pressure was on. It wasn’t just about escaping the rooms β€” it was about who could do it fastest!

Two teams managed to beat the clock and break free, while the other two teams found themselves, well… locked in! But hey, it’s all part of the fun, and even those who got β€˜locked in’ had a blast!

A Culinary Reward at Dante’s

After the excitement and light-hearted competition, we made our way across the market square to Dante’s Italian Restaurant for a well-earned three-course meal. The restaurant’s cozy ambiance and the incredible Italian cuisine hit the spot after our escape room adventures. From fresh pasta and pizzas to indulgent desserts, every course was a treat.

It was a perfect chance to sit back, relax, and chat about the day’s events (including some playful banter about which teams got stuck in the escape rooms!). The food was fantastic, the drinks flowed, and the laughter was non-stop.

Building Bonds Beyond Work

At Bubble, we don’t just work together; we prioritise team connection and wellbeing. These team-building events are more than just a fun breakβ€”they’re an important way to strengthen our relationships, improve communication, and create memories that bring us closer. Whether we’re solving puzzles together or sharing a meal, it’s these moments that reinforce the sense of camaraderie that makes Bubble such a great place to be.

Spending quality time as a team helps us return to work refreshed, motivated, and ready to tackle new challenges together. We believe that taking time out for team-building activities not only fosters a positive company culture but also drives our success.

Why Team-Building Matters at Bubble

Whether it’s climbing mountains (like our recentΒ Mount Snowdon trek!) or enjoying local adventures like escape rooms, we always make time to spend together. Events like these help us focus on our wellbeing, build trust, and stay connected in a fast-paced work environment.

At Bubble, we know that when our team thrives, so does our work. That’s why we’re committed to creating opportunities for fun, bonding, and growth outside of the office. After all, the stronger our team, the better we can serve our clients!

Wrapping Up an Unforgettable Evening

As the night drew to a close, we all walked away with full stomachs, great memories, and an even stronger sense of unity. The experience reminded us why we value these moments as much as we do.

From racing against the clock in the escape rooms to enjoying a meal together, the evening was the perfect blend of excitement, competition, and relaxation. As always, we look forward to our next adventure together β€” because at Bubble, teamwork isn’t just something we talk about, it’s something we live.
