At Bubble, our annual Macmillan Coffee Morning is always a highlight on the calendar – a chance for the team to come together, show off our baking skills, and raise money for a cause that means so much to so many.
This year’s spread certainly didn’t disappoint. From classic cakes and scones to cheesecakes, sausage rolls, pizzas, and even homemade sourdough, the effort from the team was incredible. The office was filled with amazing smells, plenty of laughter, and just a touch of healthy competition as everyone eyed up who might be crowned this year’s star baker!
While it’s always fun to share food and spend time together, the real purpose of the day is supporting Macmillan Cancer Support. The charity’s Coffee Morning is Macmillan’s biggest fundraising event, encouraging workplaces, schools, and communities across the UK to host an event and raise vital funds for people living with cancer. Thanks to everyone’s generosity here at Bubble, we’ve already raised over £100 this year – every penny of which goes towards helping people living with cancer, and their families, get the care and support they need.
Hosting these events each year is something we’re proud to continue. They remind us that the little things – like baking a cake or bringing in a tray of sausage rolls – can add up to make a big difference. You can read about last year’s Coffee Morning here and see how we’re continuing to build on our commitment to supporting important causes through our Social Impact programme.
A huge thank you to the whole Bubble team for taking part and to everyone who donated – we couldn’t do it without you!
