At Bubble, supporting our local community is something that means a great deal to us. That’s why we were delighted to host our first fundraising event of the year in support of our official charity partner for 2026, Bassetlaw Hospice.
On Thursday 26th March, the team came together to host a charity bake sale, raising funds for the incredible work the hospice does for people and families across our local community.
A team effort from start to finish
The bake sale was a full team effort, with everyone getting involved by baking a range of sweet and savoury treats. From homemade cakes and brownies to pastries and savoury bakes, the office was filled with plenty of delicious options throughout the day.
It was fantastic to see the whole team getting behind the event and putting so much effort into making it a success. There was plenty of friendly competition over whose bake would prove most popular, and of course lots of taste testing along the way!
Welcoming local businesses
We were also delighted to welcome several local businesses to the office during the afternoon who came along to support the event. It was great to see familiar faces popping in, enjoying a cake (or two!) and helping us raise money for such an important cause.
All donations were made via a QR code linked to our JustGiving page, making it quick and easy for people to contribute whatever they wished.
Thanks to the generosity of everyone involved, we’re proud to say that the bake sale raised over £450 for Bassetlaw Hospice!
Supporting our charity partner for 2026
Earlier this year, we announced Bassetlaw Hospice as our official charity partner for 2026. The hospice provides vital care and support for people living with life-limiting illnesses, as well as offering support to their families during incredibly difficult times.
As a charity, their work relies heavily on fundraising and community support, which is why we’re proud to be helping raise awareness and funds throughout the year.
Our bake sale marks the first of several fundraising activities we have planned for 2026, and we’re excited to continue supporting the hospice through future events and initiatives.
