The Challenge
Although Elm was a well recognised brand in the industry, we needed to create a new look that was more simplistic, adaptive and modern. Elm were heavily invested in the entire rebrand process with a new website, brochure and digital advertising a part of the plan, with the brand needing to work across all touchpoints.
The Solution
We created a multitude of design concepts, paying attention to various typefaces, icons, colours and styles that would work across the different types of media and would give the look and feel that Elm wanted to achieve. We kept the concepts clean and modern in their design and gave focus to brand consistency.
The Process
From the initial sketches and idea generation to applying the design styles, we kept a focus on delivering a memorable brand that could adapt to different touchpoints both online and offline. We opted for a sleek typeface that kept the logo simple and introduced a variety of colours that would imitate the 3 sides to the business, this gave us flexibility when applying the branding and helped main a consistent and recognisable feel.
Delivery
The brand was applied to a range of touchpoints including letterheads, compliment slips, business cards, brochures, adverts, website and social media. The brand works as either ‘Elm’ or ‘Elm Workspace’ and has an icon mark for their social channels. Since rolling out the new brand Elm have seen an increase in engagement amongst their target audience and have successfully updated all their marketing communications to reflect the new brand.
