We did it! 🎉 At the North Notts Business Awards 2025, Bubble Design walked away with not one but two incredible honours: Employer of the Year and Businessperson of the Year for our Managing Director, Chris Peacock.
These awards mean so much to us because they recognise what Bubble has always been about: building something special together.
Why Employer of the Year means so much to us
Out of all the four categories we were shortlisted for, Employer of the Year is the one that feels closest to home. Bubble has never just been about design and marketing. It’s about people. The brilliant team who bring their creativity every day, and the clients who trust us with their brands.
Here are just a few of the things that helped us stand out to the independent judging panel:
• Creating Cultural Roles in wellbeing, diversity & inclusion, and CSR, so our team can shape the workplace we all want to be part of
• Supporting mental health and tackling burnout with both expert-led sessions and peer-to-peer support
• Investing in apprenticeships and our Future Talent Programme to give the next generation of creatives the chance to shine
• Celebrating loyalty, with half our team having been here for six years or more (and some for over two decades!)
This award tells us we’re on the right path, and it’s a huge credit to the people who make Bubble what it is.
Celebrating Chris as Businessperson of the Year
We were also thrilled to see Chris named Businessperson of the Year. This award recognises 25 years of leadership and growth since Bubble’s humble beginnings back in 2000. While it’s a fantastic personal achievement for Chris, it’s also a reflection of the whole team’s hard work and commitment.
On winning the awards, Chris said:
“Winning Employer of the Year is an incredible honour, because it recognises the heart of Bubble: our people. We’ve worked hard to create a workplace where people feel supported, inspired, and proud of what they do, and this award shows we’re on the right track.
“While the recognition of being awarded Businessperson of the Year is very special to me personally, this too is a reflection of the amazing team we’ve built and the clients who trust us to drive results for their businesses every day. I’m proud of what we’ve achieved over 25 years, but even more excited about what’s still to come.”
Looking ahead
We couldn’t think of a better way to round off our 25th year in business than by celebrating two fantastic award wins as a team. Bubble is growing, which means finding new ways to help UK businesses thrive.
