Hy-Ram Engineering are a UK based company who have established themselves as a leading designer and manufacturer of specialist tools and equipment for both plastic and metallic distribution pipelines worldwide. Whilst Hy-Ram’s services were in demand, there website was under performing and generating little to no new online enquiries, something which needed addressing. It was quickly identified that a full redesign and rebuild of the site was required to help restructure and improve the user experience.

Challenge
Hy-Ram’s current site was packed with technical information and specifications and had become a place for users to gain access to any information, including their competitors. The challenge was to strip back the content and create a more user friendly site that was rich with CTA’s and lead generation techniques to deliver more on-site enquiries.
The Solution
After creating the sitemap and wireframes for the site we strategically restructured the category and sub category flow to make the user journey more seamless and reformatted the product pages to contain relevant information with CTA techniques that would allow users to get in touch or download technical information, giving Hy-Ram more sales enquiries.

The Process
Creating a fresh, modern new look that delivers technically and aesthetically
We worked closely with the client to identify the key USP’s and product information and mapped out the flow of the site so we could maximise cross sell opportunities, promote the hire and repair services when users are browsing products and focus on key CTA areas including downloads with lead capture, dynamic form tracking and exit intent. Our design team create a fresh, modern new look and applied the style sheets across a multitude of page templates which the customer could engage with prior to development.

A new site that has improved the user experience and seen a rise in enquiries
Since launching the site we’ve seen a sharp increase in performance and organic search result rankings, with Hy-Ram now appearing in the number 1 position on Google for their key products. This, coupled with the improved user experience and the introduction of lead capture areas including exit intent technology, has seen form conversions and site enquiries increase drastically. We have also seen an influx of brochure and product information downloads resulting in more leads for the sales team to convert.
