Overview
Leading South West storage company All Boxed began ongoing SEO strategy work with Bubble Design following the success of numerous individual SEO landing pages the team had created, with an aim to drive more traffic to the website and compete with competitors who had started overtaking them in the SERPs.
Pain points
All Boxed’s competitors had recently invested in their SEO and overtaken them as organic leaders in the market. Over the years, the All Boxed website had also acquired some technical issues impacting crawlability, including duplicate content, 404 errors and broken internal links.
Our approach
Alongside fixing All Boxed’s technical issues and optimising their existing on-page content, we started building out service and location-specific landing pages based around their offering and storage locations, as well as optimising their local Google Business Profiles. We also created a pillar and cluster topic blog strategy based around key user queries with an aim to improve internal linking throughout the site. This blog strategy works alongside an ongoing social media strategy, driving further traffic to the site from multiple channels.
The results
Since working with Bubble’s SEO team, All Boxed has seen the following results:
• Since the start of the campaign, all location pages that have been optimised are consistently up in terms of organic traffic, including Self Storage Wiltshire and Self Storage Trowbridge which are up 30.11% and 14.06% respectively
• All Boxed now has more keywords ranking in the top 3 positions than at any point in the website’s history — a landmark result for a business that has been trading for over a decade
• In terms of competitor positioning, All Boxed now dominates local searches, ranking for the most organic keywords out of all their closest competitors
• That local dominance extends to Google’s Map Pack, too — All Boxed consistently ranks as one of the top results, if not the top result, for searches across Calne, Chippenham and Melksham
