Overview
Poppin Candy, a popular online candy and pick ‘n’ mix brand known for their viral TikTok content, began working with Bubble Design’s SEO team to improve organic search visibility and grow traffic across the site. The focus of the engagement has been to build steady, sustainable SEO growth over time, opening up a new avenue for customer acquisition and brand awareness.
Pain points
Prior to starting SEO work, Poppin Candy’s main source of website traffic came from its 15 million+ social subscribers, while its organic visibility was limited. Keyword coverage was relatively narrow; many rankings sat outside page one, and non-branded search traffic was underdeveloped. As a result, organic search was not contributing at the level expected for the size of the market.
Our approach
Our SEO strategy has focused on strengthening on-page performance and site structure, alongside ongoing technical improvements, to support gradual and scalable growth. Work has centred on improving keyword coverage, search alignment, and overall visibility across commercially relevant searches for both UK and international users, allowing performance to build month by month.
The results
Since working with Bubble’s SEO team, Poppin Candy has seen the following results:
• In the first 6 months, we saw organic traffic grow consistently, resulting in approximately 15,000 additional sessions.
• During that same time period, the number of search terms the website ranks for grew by 34.29%.
• The website now ranks for over 24,000 organic keywords in the USA alone, with top 3 rankings increasing by approximately 62% in 6 months.
• A large volume of targeted keywords have moved from positions 51-100 into page-one visibility.
• Pick ’N’ Mix was identified as one of the priority areas of focus during our onboarding process with Poppin Candy. Since starting the SEO project, overall organic keyword coverage for this product range has increased by approximately 274% since, alongside a 115% rise in estimated organic traffic.
