We’re looking for an experienced Content Writer to join our passionate and expanding digital team.
As a content writer, you will be responsible for creating, reviewing and editing content for website and digital projects, including SEO-friendly landing pages and blogs about industry-related topics for our clients. You’ll work closely with our digital team to write content that not only ranks well in search engines, but also supports user journeys and drives lead generation. You will be a confident communicator capable of working with a range of customers and colleagues.
To be successful in this role, you should have strong experience in digital publishing, an understanding of user behaviour, and a proven ability to create content that generates traffic from both organic and AI search, engagement, and leads.
Full-time
Hybrid (Minimum of 2 days a week at our Retford location)

Key responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Researching, planning, and writing content for a range of web and digital projects
- Collaborating closely with designers and developers to ensure content supports site structure, user journeys and lead generation
- Writing high-performing landing page and website content designed to engage users and drive action
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting strict deadlines
- Developing content strategies aligned with client objectives, KPIs and target audiences
- Conducting keyword research and integrating insights naturally into content to maximise search and AI visibility
- Optimising on-page SEO to improve rankings and performance
- Monitoring and analysing website performance and user behaviour to identify opportunities for improvement and upsell
- Ensuring all content aligns with brand tone of voice and remains consistent across platforms
- Identifying user needs and translating them into clear, compelling messaging
- Ensuring content complies with copyright and data protection regulations
- Researching industry-related topics to produce relevant, authoritative content
Key skills
To be considered, the successful candidate should have:
- Experience as a content writer in prior roles, creating strong and engaging content
- Understanding of SEO best practices
- Prior experience in web traffic metrics, HTML and web publishing
- Proficiency with content management systems and analytics software (WordPress, Google Analytics, Semrush, etc.)
- Excellent writing, proofreading and communication skills
- Detail oriented work with good time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced agency
- Proficiency with Google Workspace
- Ability to work efficiently maintaining high quality and accuracy
- Goal oriented and customer oriented
- Multi-project management skills, adhering to timelines and performing under pressure to achieve the targets
- Good attention to detail along with a creative mind
- Excellent team working skills to collaborate with various team members and work in alignment with them
- Confidence communicating with and managing clients
- Ability to maintain consistency in their content writing
- Have an understanding of UI/UX design
