We’re looking for a Web Development Coordinator to join our passionate and expanding digital team.
As a web development coordinator, you’ll work closely with our design and development teams to build and maintain a wide range of responsive websites built on the WordPress CMS. You’ll be involved in the full lifecycle of web projects – leveraging the latest technology and contributing to everything from initial planning to post-launch support.
We’re looking for someone with a genuine passion for web development, a sharp eye for detail, and a desire to keep learning and growing. You’ll be comfortable sharing ideas, solving problems, and collaborating with a tight-knit team of thinkers, designers, and developers. Meeting deadlines, adapting to challenges, and striving for quality will come naturally to you.

Hybrid (Minimum of 2 days a week at our Retford location)
Salary: Dependent on experience
Key responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
• Keeping clients informed throughout the web development process, ensuring clear and timely communication
• Populating website content within the WordPress CMS
• Applying on-page SEO to new web pages
• Implementing 301 redirects to support site migrations and maintain SEO integrity
• Uploading products to websites using provided reference materials and assets
• Ensuring all websites meet current best practice guidelines as outlined by Google
• Proactively identifying and suggesting improvements to enhance website performance and user experience
• Thoroughly testing all new development work to ensure quality and functionality
• Managing website hosting settings and performing regular backups, where required

• Strong client relationship and communication skills, including the ability to manage expectations effectively
• A proactive and organised approach to project coordination
• Excellent time management and the ability to prioritise tasks across multiple projects
• A positive, solutions-focused attitude to problem solving
• Confident telephone and video call manner
• Professional and clear written communication skills
• A willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and processes
• Experience working with WordPress CMS, or a strong desire and ability to learn quickly
• Proficiency in HTML and CSS, with the ability to confidently structure and style responsive web pages
Desirable skills
• Knowledge of JavaScript, PHP, jQuery, or experience with page builders such as Visual Composer or Elementor in WordPress
• Familiarity with CSS media queries for responsive design
• Ability to work with web design files and prototypes in Figma
• A solid understanding of SEO principles and how they apply to web development
• Good grasp of modern web design principles and usability best practices
• Confident in delivering WordPress CMS training to clients
• Comfortable working in a Mac-based environment
